A huge shout out to Forever Fit's, Woman2Warrior team. Thank you Neon Warriors, Pam, Donna, Rosalie, and Lori for an amzing day of teamwork, organization encouragment and FUN! ... especially when I had to crawl over that rope tower : ]

Woman2Warrior Event in Collwood, BC. was so much fun! We climbed, clambered, slid and crawled while we laughed and laughed : ) with Donna MacPhee, Rosalie Stetch, Nancy McNeil, Forever Fit, BCThese ladies all got on board with costumes and in a very short time. Sunday morning they were ready to go by 8am, just had to wait for their leader : ))) We started off with a really fun warm up with a group of zumba dancers. A short jog away, we slid down the slip n slide together, holding hands and screaming!  Then we climbed over the boards, under boards, over ropes and under the ropes accross the monkey bars. The ropes did not work with the feathers in my hair : )))

There were two stations that challenged me personally. The first was the water... we had to crawl through a VERY long box of ICE COLD WATER with a tarp layed over the water. Very squishy and very cold : /  They actually poured massive bags of ice into the giant bath tub. The other one that REALLY challenged me was the VERY high rope apperatus. Not so bad going up the first half, then I realized how high I was ... did I mention I'm afraid of hights.  Ya, and the space in the rope was very large!  Up I go, and then I have to climb over the lateral post at the top and make my way down looking where I put my foot while taking very deep breaths.  But... I did it! And I'll do it again next year. I really hope you will all join us next year to share the fun, the comradery and your personal challenges.

Our team raised over $1325.! This money will help send kids with special needs go to camp. How great is that!  I want to give a huge shout out to Forever Fit members, Annie Leonard, Julie Smith and Mike Bates for supporting us with their donations. Also, a big thank you to Pacific Plumbing and Michael Moore Fine Woodwork for their generous sponsorship : )

See you next year!
