Happy Ritual #1:
I tried out this first strategy a few weeks ago. There was … an incident that got me worked up and I could feel myself ramping up inside : ) Then I remembered this article and happened to have my gratitude journal in my bag so I quickly pulled it out and frantically started writing. I wrote fast and furious, feeling like Dorey from finding Nemo! “Just keep writing, just keep writing”. It took about 10 minutes but I could quickly feel myself defusing and moving into a more comfortable place. Now I was able to face the culprits … and move forward:) I’m a fan of this technique.
