What is “Eating Clean” Anyway?
Eating Clean is … just a name given to a set of principles that we follow to fuel our bodies in order to find optimal health, body weight & energy level. When we follow these principles as a lifestyle, we are able to manage our health and weight for life.
Yes, diets do work … if you follow them to a T, you will lose weight. However, how many of us have endured one of those diets, lost the weight for a while before gaining it all back, possibly more…and then we are back to square one, wondering what diet to try next? There are NO quick fixes, that I know of… How many times do we want to do this roller coaster dieting? If we want something to change ~ We have to change “something.” Learning some simple Eating Clean principles can give you the strategies that will give you the power to manage your health and weight … for life! The byproduct of that will be more energy, more activity, a longer, healthy life and your forever body that you want. Who doesn’t want that?
Nutrition is … responsible for 80-90% of your weight loss. You can exercise as much as you want, if your nutrition is not healthy, the weight and/or body shape will not change. Stop eating less and start Eating Clean.

Eating Clean is NOT just another diet. It’s a lifestyle approach to food and its preparation, leading to an improved sense of health, energy and weight management.
Typically we do not sleep enough and the majority of the population does not eat to fuel the body for energy and efficient fat burning. In this 2.5 hour workshop we explore the basic principles of Clean Eating, including how to plan, what to buy, what to eat/drink and how much. We will explore weight management plans with nutrition/fitness options, goal setting, shopping/cooking ideas & how to choose a recipe. We will also explore the foods that will give you the best value, how much and how often and teach you some strategies for grocery shopping, food preparation, and packing ready-to-eat foods for the car/office or on the run.
Eating clean as a lifestyle will help you reduce and maintain a healthy body weight without “dieting.” The bonus is that your whole body will function better. You may improve your sleep, memory, digestive system, and energy levels. Eating clean, fun, good tasting food is realistic and it can be done…you just need the tools to do it! Nancy will share her personal experiences with weight loss and body transformation and the strategies she has learned along the way.
